Self-care influences your state of wellbeing and can positively contribute to the way you deliver services to keep you and our rural communities healthy.

#RuralHealthTogether is an initiative of RDN that aims to aggregate self-care support information for rural health professionals. There are also financial grants available to help rural health professionals, and their families, care for themselves.

Practitioner wellbeing

Up to $1,000 is available to support the wellbeing of rural primary health care professionals to ensure they can continue to provide primary care services in their communities.

Family support

Up to $500 is available to families of rural primary health care professionals to help with settlement and integration into a rural or remote community.

Partner education

Up to $1,000 is available to the partners of rural primary health care professionals to assist with training and education expenses to enhance their career and employment opportunities while living in a rural location.
